Brain Tweaking
Brain shifting. Pushing externals to shift from one mode to another. While flipping through the new XM stations on Directv thinking I'd put on Dance music or Techno to get my brain working on designing the clients database I hit the Heavy Metal section. Feels good. Its pumping up the warrior persona who is in a take no prisoners mood of tackling this database. hmm.. Ok, so I use Thrash, Heavy Metal or Alternative music for working out. Screaming Heavy Metal for skiing and now Heavy Metal for database design. Pain = Screaming music.
