Does G-d then lie in some spiritual space outside the corporeal world?

DAILY DOSE: Be a Mentsch

Be a Mentsch
------------
There is a way to reach G–d by just being a mentsch.
A mentsch is someone who respects the needs and wishes of others--especially the desires of those in his care.
In the care of each of us is entrusted a G–dly soul, and her only desire is to return to the bosom of her Beloved Above. Her Beloved, as well, reaches out to her, yearning to show her His love.
Even as this G–dly soul resides within your care, the two lovers can be reunited. There is but one condition: She must adorn herself from the wardrobe He has provided her for the journey, with luminous deeds and acts of beauty. He, too, will adorn a matching set. Then they will meet together, within the circumstances of your world, within the den of your heart.
And you, being a mentsch, could you stand in their way?

Amma Sri Karunamayi
Amma Sri Karunamayi: "'The essence of Amma's message to the world is that we should realize the great opportunity we have as human beings to cultivate inner beauty and ultimately to attain spiritual liberation, so that we can offer our selfless service to the entire universe. The true purpose of human life lies in the development of such dharmic virtues as compassion, truthfulness, dispassionate wisdom, contentment, and selfless love.
These virtues produce a peaceful state of mind that is extremely conducive to true, deep meditation. It is only in deep meditation that we come into contact with the divine inner Self-the Atman. Amma describes this true Self in many ways-as eternal bliss, highest truth, purity, peace, wisdom, the light of lights, and so on. Eventually, through the combination of sincere personal striving and the descent of divine grace, we can merge permanently with the eternal light of supreme Divine Consciousness. This is the ultimate fulfillment of our human birth, and it is the destiny of all beings.'"

Amma's
This is so cool. There is another Amma, two Amma's. So sweet.
I know the one Amma - Mata Amritanandamayi, she performed an amazing feet for me years back. I went to her retreat in Santa Fe, New Mexico. People blissing out, sitting in a large tent with her, musicians playing, waiting for my turn to go up and receive a hug from her. No lectures, no do this do that. Just love, hugs, smiles, bliss.
At the time my heart was blocked. I couldn't feel. Driving from Arizona through the desert on the Navajo (Dinah) Land, I did a heart check. It felt like there was this piece of plastic, long with a pointed top and bottom, (more exactly it was like pink stain glass in gold, like a double terminated crystal, only flat), right on my sternum, blocking my heart. It's when I was coming off the suicide intervention, doing the post treatment center work, and people would say "we love you" and I'd say, "that's an interesting concept, thanks". I felt nothing, but nothing was better than all the pain I had been in.
So, Amma takes me in her arms, hugs me, then with a firm grip on my shoulders, pushes me back, one hand still gripping me, the other brushing across my sternum, then she pulls me back into her with a loving hug.
Wow, *poof* I started to feel again. My heart was functioning, emotional awareness was returning. It was so black and white. All the while, no lecture, no do this, do that, no give us a donation now, zippo. Just drove back across the desert, smiling, in awe.
Anyway, I love Amma doing the love thing. I highly recommend people that get the opportunity to be in her presence to do so.
NOW, I'm reading the Sedona Creative Living Center email newsletter and here's another Amma - Sri Karunamayi, again, free, again sharing the love. Amazing. Well, if I'm in town I'm thinking I'll head on down there.

DAILY DOSE: Supermind

Supermind

Intellect can orbit about the truth forever, but it doesn't have feet to land. There is a faculty, however, that doesn't need to travel to find Truth. For which truth was never hidden or obscured. For it is a native of Truth from birth.
It is not blind faith. It is an inner vision. It is not mind, but even more essential to our very being. It is the foundation from which meaningful thought begins and with it all things resolve. For it knows intimately that which the mind can only peer at through the shifting clouds.
