Week three - Tiferet

Tiferet - compassion - blends and harmonizes the free outpouring love of chesed with the discipline of gevurah. Tiferet possesses this power by introducing a third dimension - the dimension of truth, which is neither love or discipline and therefore can integrate the two.

Truth is accessed through selflessness: rising above your ego and your predispositions, enables you to realize truth. A clear and objective picture of yours and others needs. The imbalance of love and discipline (and for that matter, any distortion) is a result of a subjective, hence limited perspective; introducing truth, by suspending personal prejudices, allows you to express your feelings (including the synthesis of chesed and gevurah) in the healthiest manner.

This quality gives tiferet its name, which means beauty: it blends the differing colors of love and discipline, and this harmony makes it beautiful. For tiferet to be complete it needs the inclusion of the following seven facets: love of compassion, discipline of compassion, compassion of compassion, endurance of compassion, humility of compassion, bonding of compassion and sovereignty of compassion.


Day One of Week 3 (15th day of omer):
Chesed of Tiferet

Examine the love aspect of compassion.

Ask yourself: Is my compassion tender and loving or does it come across as pity? Is my sympathy condescending and patronizing? Even if my intention is otherwise, do others perceive it as such? Does my compassion overflow with love and warmth; is it expressed with enthusiasm, or is it static and lifeless?

Exercise for the day: When helping someone extend yourself in the fullest way; offer a smile or a loving gesture.

Following getting a blessing from Amma, my hearing has become really clear. I'm noticing more sounds from all my speakers. There's this electronic undulating high pitched buzz in both my ears happening for months now. That buzz is quieter. hmm...

The Oppressive Neighbor
-----------------------

No one is a greater tyrant than your friendly neighbor. Or fellow workers at the office. Or friends at the gym. The mere anticipation of their scrutiny arrests all growth before it can even germinate. "Why have you changed your way of life? Was everything you did until now wrong? Why do you feel a need to be different?" The most tyrannical regime could never be as oppressive.

The secret is, they may never even make a comment. They probably don't even care. So where do all those intimidating questions come from?

They come from your own little tyrant inside.

Judgment is a trap. Stay away, stay far far away from it.

I was reading one of the prophets describe Moshiah and that he would Judge.

I'm not that holy to judge. Judgment sucks me down into ego. I exist in Love.

I had a really blissed out time doing the entire road trip down to Sedona thing. Here's the thing, it's like I'm constantly new. I have continuity in only the lightest sense. Everything becomes more beautiful, more exciting, more thrilling, more amped, more Awesome. Oak Creek Canyon was to part of me familiar and to most of me over the top gorgeous.

I get to the event after it has started... which I prefer. All the people are sitting down and out of the way. I find myself in the front at the side in an alcove, sitting on the floor, perfectly comfortable, great view, and right behind Amma's production staff.

Amma is giving a discourse and takes breaks for songs of gratitude, songs of peace, and songs asking the Divine for help to be ones True Self.

Closing my eyes I see these dancing dakini and I dance along with them nodding and turning my head. To give myself space I throw up a cloak of invisibility. That way I can be me without being noticed.

After a while I look around at the crowd, clean, pretty, nicely dressed and I wonder.. Wow.. I'm right here and I bet they don't even know it, then the thought flies in, "Well, you did throw up a cloak of invisibility. Which is it, be noticed or be invisible?"

I've rather been enjoying invisible.

I learned how to do invisible years and years ago from my teacher M.

For the last six years I have been smiling so brightly constantly that I pretty much always stay cloaked so that I can be myself, smiling brightly without attracting attention.

So.. Amma comes to this song invoking help for all to be in the Truth. Getting ready to listen I suddenly got this wake up call, she was calling for help for the Divine. hmm.. OK, I'll be me. I am Love in Form. I am the daughter of the Divine. I am a fountain of divine love. The love is constantly flowing, inexhaustible and it is my job to be conscious of it and have it flow into the world. That's my job. I am love. I look human, and I have the human condition to deal with, but I am not human. I am LOVE, LOVE in form. During Amma's pray, my body became still and upright. I became quiet and the fountain opened filling the space with divine love.

Once again, I didn't notice anyone noticing me, but then.. how very little people do notice.

I'm at a point where it's starting to feel like I have been pretending I don't know.

I do know.

Then I ask to know. I beg, entreat, implore to know... but I do know.

As the curtain comes up, the understanding that I've already had this level of understanding comes back.

Where have I been?

Went to Amma Karunamayi's happening at the Sedona Creative Living Center. Amazing. (By the way, she packed the Center.)

Here's what I got of her message.
All is SOURCE.
SOURCE is love.
Wake up from Illusion and be your Divine Self, this is the highest attainment.
Seeing the Divine in everything is the highest attainment.
Speaking Truth always is the highest meditation.
Ask the Divine to help you wake up from Illusion.
Pray for World Peace.
Do what you can to help those that are suffering.
Love all for those is no separation between you and all.

So clean, so perfect. We are on the same page.

A World Becoming
----------------

The times our generation lives in are not ordinary times. We dwell on the interface between two worlds -- a world as it was and a world as it is meant to be.

The story of the cosmos does not go on forever. Just as your own life and the life of everyone you know has a beginning and a conclusion, so too does this entire cosmos. And since its Creator is innately good, so too the conclusion of His creation is the ultimate of good.

We know a world in the process of becoming. Soon will be a world where each thing has arrived. Arrived at the Essence of All Things.

On today's Tyra show, Tyra does the Love Being Reveal saying: "I don't know you, but I love you."

There's so many love beings. :)

First time I noticed Tyra was when she played the full size doll on a kids program. (I'm usually on the Disney channels, *grin* .) Watching her and the light in her, I was like, Wow, she is sooo sweet, she is such a beautiful entity.

Tyra is a Love Being, using her fame as a platform for healing, lifting the vibration of form up into love.

Dr. Wayne Dyer says, "When a good deed is done, there a multiple recipients of its blessing. The one receiving, the one giving, and those observing.

When Tyra and Ellen DeGeneres, (another love being), are helping people in front of an international TV audience, they and all involved in making the wonderful help happen are blessed, the recipients are blessed and all of us who are watching are blessed. Its all ONE so by adding Light into the Mix EVERYTHING is blessed.

I LOVE those people.

Twice now I have received gifts from the Tyra Bank's show. I did the 'first 50 who log onto the web site will participate with today's gift' thing. Although... it all comes from Source. However I am still awed by being able to watch and participate from a distance. And I so LOVE the gifts. Thank you Tyra! :)
