There are things that are important for us, so we speak about them.
There are things very important to us -- and so words flow out from us, bursting with emotion, meaning and depth.
And then there are things that shake us to the core. The core of our being does not wait for the mind's permission or for the right words -- there are no words that can contain it. It breaks out in a cry, in a scream and in silence.
This is the sound of the shofar: A crying voice, not even of a human being, but of an animal's horn. We need the animal -- not for its coarseness, but on the contrary, because we need to express something so sublime, it cannot find words; so essential and unbounded, the mind can neither fathom it nor hold it back.
The very core of our souls needs to cry, "Father! Father!"

Daily Dose - Trust , Not Faith - Healing
Trust , Not Faith - Healing
Be Within Stay Above
By Tzvi Freeman
Trust , Not Faith
People ask, "How can I have confidence in G–d? Confidence that He will take care of me, that everything will work out for the best? Perhaps I don’t deserve the best. Perhaps I’ve already messed up so bad He no longer cares about me?"
These people have trust in G–d all mixed up.
Trust is not faith. Faith is something you may or may not have. But trust is something you do. Hard.
Trust is when you are dragged by the currents of a mighty river and you cling with all your might to a rock you trust will not move. Trust is when, in times of trouble, you cleave so unshakably to the heavens that you pull them down to earth.
Trust is a mighty and heroic bonding of love. And as with all love, it is reflected in the heart of the beloved. You bond with the Eternal Rock above, and the Above bonds with you. Then you are a fit vessel for all kinds of good.
Trust changes who you are. It changes your whole world. And it is available to anybody, at any moment, no matter who they were the moment before.

Ki Tavo Haftorah - Parshah
Ki Tavo Haftorah - Parshah:
Isaiah
Chapter 60
"18. Violence shall no longer be heard in your land, neither robbery nor destruction within your borders, and you shall call salvation your walls and your gates praise."
Pull together on gates praise.
Psalms = praise
49 (50) gates of repentance
Each Psalm opens a gate, for the person who doesn't know his or her gate of repentance reading Psalms is recommended by our Sages. The Bal Shem Tov recommends 3x day starting with the 1st of Elul, which this year is the same day in September, making it incredibly easy to know which Psalms to read, you can look at the calendar today is the 23rd of Sept and the 23rd of Elul, multiply 23 x 3 (Psalms a day) and you get 69 which is the last in the 3 count for today, 67, 68, 69.

New Brain Synaps
To clarify, it's the:
Rambam's Mishneh Torah,
"The Mishneh Torah was the Rambam's (Rabbi Moses ben Maimon) magnum opus, a work spanning hundreds of chapters and describing all of the laws mentioned in the Torah. To this day it is the only work that details all of Jewish observance, including those laws which are only applicable when the Holy Temple is in place. Participating in the one of the annual study cycles of these laws (3 chapters/day, 1 chapter/day, or Sefer Hamitzvot) is a way we can play a small but essential part in rebuilding the final Temple."
Rambam's Sefer Hamitzvot - The Mitzvots (This one is AMAZING!)
and
The Alter Rebbe's Tanya
"Chabad Chassidus is an all-embracing world outlook and way of life which sees the Jew's central purpose as a unifying link between the Creator and His world. Written by the Alter Rebbe, the founder of Chabad, Tanya is the central text of Chabad Chassidus. It shows the reader a path to realizing their purpose and developing a deeper relationship with G-d."

Listen and DO
Listen = Success, like when parents asked my brother, Brad, and I what we would prefer, an allowance that we could manage, invest, save for purchase, or unlimited money for purchases as we needed it.
Sandy and Brad glance at each other passing the message back and forth with our eyes, is this a trick question?

DAILY DOSE: Impossible Fusion
Be Within Stay Above
By Tzvi Freeman
Impossible Fusion
Why not remain broken? When broken, you can achieve the highest heights. When you are nothing, you can receive everything.
Because you are not made only to receive. You must also face the real world and challenge its chutzpah over and over. To do that, you need supreme wholeness, as though you were Adam in the Garden before his fall.
And if you should say, "But it is impossible! It is beyond the capacity of a created being to be both something and nothing at once."
You are right. It is impossible. That is precisely the advantage of the human being. That is why G-d created you: To join heaven and earth, Nothingness and Being. To make the impossible a reality.
